About us
Zeny Fuentes y Reyna, They are from a small town in Oaxaca. “Both come from families dedicated to carving and painting wooden figures in a style known as alebrije, their parents were master carvers and they taught each of them when they were young children, they liked working in making alebrijes and continuing the traditions of their families.
Process
The alebrije is a “spiritual and fantastic being” represents the soul, and the belief is that every human being born is accompanied by an animal that will guide and protect them throughout their lives. The alebrije is capable of fulfilling the most desired wishes. These beings take the shape of an animal and develop through our thoughts and feelings.
